In 2010, longtime friends, Mr. Victor Latimer and Dr. Jason Mendez, aspired to establish a distinct artistic movement that is reflective of everyday life. As a result, Art(echo) was born. Art(echo) fuses contemporary, elegant, purposeful, and alluring aesthetics to create a more self-conscious “new art” rather than creating “art for art’s sake”. Art(echo) is more than just the arts, it is a social movement that uses music, film and print as voice to connect local communities on a national level.

Join the Art(echo) movement in returning purity to self-expression.

The Forgotten Point Trailer

This is an Art(echo) and Potentialis project. This is the original trailer; however, title and release date have changed. The film is now called "Raising the Point." Release date is TBA.

One of the prominent contributors to air pollution is the effect of idling trucks. The Hunts Point section of the South Bronx, which is located in the proximity to four expressways, suffers extensively from truck idling. About one-fifth of all students from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade in the area go to schools located within 500 feet, or about two blocks, of major highways. This film documents the health and environmental effects of truck idling in the Hunts Point community and the communitys call to action.
